night out with his friends

Went to Gweilos last night with my honey to meet his friends. At first, I thought of not going with him, stay home and watch Nip Tuck (liked this show, Dr. Troy is ooziing with sexx appeal). but then I thought that he might go drinking galore if i let him go alone, so i came along. Of course, my presence did not stop them from drinking and staying out late...i should have known.

I wished i would bump into some of my own friends, nope, did not happen! Oh well, it was my honey's night. I guess, he's feeling the same when we're with my friends. But, he knows more about my friends so i guess he can relate more to the stories than i can to their office issues.

weekends with in-laws

My SIL arrived 2 sats ago (jun11). We picked her up from the airport and we surprised my FIL and MIL. Days before her arrival, she e-mailed eric and told him about her plan to surprise MIL and FIL. She requested for 'Kilawin' so Eric called MIL and told her that were coming home this weekend and he wants kilawin. Once SIL arrived we called up in their house so they won't suspect anything. It was really fun seeing them really shocked when they saw ate len coming in the house. It was a blast after that.

Last Sat, Eric went home (Capas) in the morning so he can drive them back here in MaKati. We went out and dine at Krokodile in Greenbelt 3(with side kwento). Sunday came and it's time for ate len to go back to China. She almost missed the flight because we were not mindful of the time. After seeing MIL and FIL with their grandson JM settled in the victory bus, we headed to greenbelt to attend mass. We then watched Batman begins. liked it a lot! it's not just another action filled movie with no good story line.

Their service sucks! We were almost done eating when our drinks were served. We called the attention of different waiters and still, the drinks arrived so late i almost lost my appetite. Horrible service!

Despedida party / Civil Wedding

Last Sunday, we had a despedida party for our friend Jon. He's a seaman and he'll be away for 6 months. We're going to miss him.

They say there's a lot of money for a seaman, i'm not sure if i will ever let eric be a seaman if he asked me. Good thing he's not thinking about it.

Before the despedida party, I attended a wedding with my MIL. It's the wedding of laverne, eric's bestman during our wedding and one of his bestfriends. It was so unfortunate that they only had a tent set up then it rained. Eric was supposed to give a speech but he wasn't able to come due to unforseen event. FIL was one of the principa sponsors but he was with Eric at that time, so my MIL proxied(is there such a word?) for him.

I wish the newlywed the best! According to Noemi(bride), they've been a couple for 8 months before they decided to get married. They both came from bad relationships and they don't share the same religion. I'd like to see them prove that love conquers all...sabi nga nila, against all odds :)
